Margaret…..I just watched your Troubleshooting Magic Loop tutorial on youtube and it’s fantastic!
I’m doing my first ever magic loop sock and kept getting ladders and yarn overs that were driving me NUTS.
It was a lightbulb moment to see you demonstrate how to properly bring the yarn to avoid a yarn over. I kept putting the yarn behind the second needle instead of bringing it over the first needle. WOW!
And I was pulling and pullling and PULLING to punish those darn ladders!!!!! I ‘ve followed your technique to hold the stitch on needle 1 and “gently pull on my pants!!! No more ladders!
Thanks!
I’m so glad to hear it! It was so frustrating to me for quite a while so I’m happy to be able to save you some of that! Glad you don’t have any “hoochie mama pants” in your knitting! (I have no idea why that analogy popped in my head!)
