Guess what?! Singer appears to have used the Addi Professional as a model and revamped their children’s knitting machine. The first one (that has been out for years) was less than adequate. Click here for the link to that review. But on a happier note, the new machine has promise for those who want to try their hand at circular machine knitting before they invest in a quality machine. HOWEVER, be aware that the old one is still on the market so be sure NOT to waste your money on that one! See what I’m talking about here:
My kids gave me a great gift this past Christmas: a Yuzen Gift Box Subscription. I can’t tell you how much I love this thing! It’s theme is… well… sort of “zen” spa products. You get them in sample sizes with coupon codes if you’d like to order the full size versions of ones you really enjoy. The quality of the box is so very elegant. I feel quite spoiled!
One of the things I love the most about it is that all the products are free of harsh dyes and chemical fragrances. Most are USDA Organic. I have to give this a a 5 Star Rating and highly recommend this as a gift for someone special. Many thanks to my clever kids!
You haven’t made the move to organics yet? HELLO! This is 2014! Here’s a post from my other blog that can give you a quick class on why we really need to: Living In Ignorant Bliss “You may think this stuff is boring but that doesn’t change the fact that your body is going to do its thing whether you learn about it or not. I really don’t recommend continuing to live in ignorant bliss!”

A friend on YouTube was thinking about buying a Singer knitting machine “to see if she liked circular machine knitting before she spent so much money on an Addi.” I had a Singer (which I’m not thrilled with) so I did a demo/review/comparison to Addi video for her. Were you thinking the same thing? Watch this first:
